Those who are musically inclined have plenty of opportunity here at First Christian! We are always looking for those passionate about singing, participating in our Handbell Choir, and musicians to join our Worship Team!
Our “Joyful Bells of Grace” Handbell Choir meets weekly to practice together and typically present 1-2 times per month during Sunday Service. Bell Practice takes place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Music Room and is directed by Marcia Peters.
Our “Praise Singers” meet weekly to practice - Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Music Room - in order to lead our congregation in worship during Sunday Services and are led by Pastor Erin Grandprey. Praise Singers also sound check and practice Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
We are always looking for more instruments to build our Sunday morning sound! Musicians practice with the Praise Singers on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Interested musicians should contact Pastor Erin Grandprey.
Love to sing but aren’t able to commit to our Praise Singers? We put together an additional Choir each Easter and Advent. Practices run February-Easter and October-Christmas on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m..
